Description

This is the Tonda PF Skeleton as Parmigiani Fleurier first showed it: a steel case and bracelet, a knurled bezel in 950 platinum, and a graphite openworked dial lit by rose gold.

The idea is not to remove as much metal as possible. The bridges of the PF777 keep their solid shapes, sandblasted and satin-finished in graphite, with edges bevelled by hand, so light comes through the gaps without the movement looking stripped. The hand-applied indexes and the skeletonised delta hands are 18-carat rose gold.

Behind sapphire, a skeletonised 22-carat rose gold rotor winds the 60-hour automatic, which beats at 4 Hz. The case is 40 mm across and 8.5 mm thin, water resistant to 100 m.
