The Time Jumper in Steel
Description
The Time Jumper is Czapek’s playful salute to both past and future — a design that folds traditional guillochage and haute-horlogerie finishing into a retro-futuristic 40.5 mm steel case inspired by flying-saucer forms.
Hidden beneath a white-gold guilloché cover lies a patent-pending jumping-hour display, featuring twin sapphire discs that alternate every 60 minutes to reveal 24 hours. Minutes trail elegantly along a peripheral blue-laser-engraved ring. When the loupe-shaped window at the centre opens, the open-worked Calibre 10.1 is fully revealed: a self-winding mechanical movement that blends science-fiction design with traditional Swiss finishing.
Created to mark the maison’s 10th anniversary and 180 years of watchmaking, the Time Jumper is limited to just 100 pieces in stainless steel and 30 in 18K gold, with a further 10 bespoke orders reserved for private commissions.
