Description

The TYPE 10 DN is Ressence’s first oil-filled watch with a movement of its own, and it is drawn to read as one object. Case, sapphire, dial and integrated rubber strap share a single deep blue, Dark Night, and the oil lifts the dial right up to the crystal.

Inside are two sealed worlds. The in-house RW-04 self-winding calibre runs in air, the ROCS 10 display turns in oil, and magnets pass the motion through a thin titanium membrane without the two ever touching. Across one continuous surface it shows the hours, minutes, a second time zone, a 120-second runner that also steadies the magnetic link, and the oil’s temperature by colour.

Four years and 538 components went into a watch designed to look as if nothing did. It is DLC-coated titanium, 41.5 mm across, and weighs 82 grams. Limited to 100 pieces.
