A digital watch reduced to ring scale, the CASIO Ring Watch CRW-001-1DR turns the familiar Casio aesthetic into an unusually compact object. Developed for Casio’s 50th anniversary, its full-metal construction uses metal injection molding to form the case, case back and ring as one integrated structure. Inside, a miniature digital module—downsized by a factor of ten—delivers timekeeping, dual time, calendar and 1/100-second stopwatch functions through a compact LCD display. The ring measures 25.2 × 19.5 × 6.2 mm and is built around a 20 mm inner diameter, with additional spacers supplied for size adjustment. A mineral glass crystal and LED backlight complete the practical specification, while the programmable Time Flash adds a distinctly playful detail. It is a technically considered reinterpretation of the digital watch, compressed into a format that sits somewhere between horology and industrial design.
