Projekt 01 Variant G1
Description
Variant G1 is Projekt 01 in blue, with hands meant to blend in. They are blue PVD with blue Super-LumiNova centres, the same family as the dial, and the white seconds hand is the one thing that contrasts. kollokium calls this its original hand configuration.
The dial is a textured grey blue with blue-emission Super-LumiNova in its base, set with 468 applied cylinders in blue PVD, each tipped with lume. kollokium says friends and customers had been asking for blue since the start, and calls Variant G the tamest Projekt 01 to date, on purpose.
The case is die-cast 316L steel, 40 mm, under a cylindrical sapphire box, with an unsigned La Joux-Perret G101 automatic inside and about 68 hours of reserve. Water resistant to 50 m. Limited to 499 pieces across G1 and G2, on a navy elastic strap with a die-cast steel hook buckle.
