Projekt 01 Variant “F”

Variant “F” is where Lichtblock™ began. Rather than filling the tips of metal pins with lume, kollokium made the pins out of it: a ceramic-resin hybrid packed with violet-emission Super-LumiNova.

There are 488 of them on the textured violet dial, in several sizes, each applied by hand, and one faulty pin or misalignment means the whole dial is thrown away. Violet is harder for the eye to pick up than green or blue, which is why there is so much of it.

The violet hour and minute hands carry Lichtblock™ too, and the seconds hand is white. The 40 mm case is die-cast 316L steel under a cylindrical sapphire box, water resistant to 50 m.

Inside, an unsigned La Joux-Perret G101 automatic with about 68 hours of reserve. Limited to 399 pieces, on a warm grey elastic strap with a die-cast hook buckle.
