Description

A field watch with the extras taken off. The 180 Protox keeps to what a field watch is for: a matt black dial, silver numerals you can read at a glance, and a date at 3 o’clock.

The numerals are Stepan Sarpaneva’s Scandi-noir type, set inside a railroad minute track, with Super-LumiNova on the indexes and hands. The 38.7 mm case is Finnish Outokumpu SUPRA steel and only 9.4 mm thick.

Inside is a Swiss Soprod A10, reworked, oiled and regulated in Helsinki: automatic, 4 Hz, 42 hours of power reserve, with perlage and Côtes de Genève on show through the open caseback. Water resistant to 100 m. Limited to 50 pieces, on black Nordic elk leather.
