Description

A sector dial with its lines cut in, not printed: every marking is engraved, then plated in rose gilt, so it catches the light at the edge of each cut.

The base is grained anthracite, close to black. Railway tracks, numerals and indexes in polished rose gilt mark out the sectors, and Louis Erard’s fir tree hands, rose-gilt too, read the time the regulator way: hours at 12 o’clock, minutes from the centre, seconds at 6 o’clock.

The polished steel case is 39 mm, with a dark sapphire caseback over the automatic Sellita regulator calibre, with about 38 hours of reserve. Water resistant to 50 m. On beige grained calf leather with quick-release bars.
