HM9 'Sapphire Vision' White Gold

First presented in 2018, Horological Machine N°9 – nicknamed HM9 ‘Flow’ – was inspired by the dynamic profiles of automotive and aviation design from the 1940s and 50s. The result was a case like no other that echoed the epoch’s flowing, aerodynamic lines.

Despite its striking external appearance, the HM9 movement inside was described as the most beautiful movement MB&F had created to date. What other logical step was there to take, if not to encase the engine in a transparent sapphire crystal shell?

The result is Horological Machine N°9 ‘Sapphire Vision’ or "HM9-SV": after four initial editions in 2021, two new sapphire crystal editions are presented in 2023: in white gold combined with a blue PVD-coated engine, or yellow gold featuring a PVD-coated green engine - both limited to just 5 pieces.

SAPPHIRE CRYSTALS

Total of five sapphire crystals treated with anti-reflective coating: three crystals for the main components of the case, one crystal covering the dial, and one crystal for the dial itself.

STRAP & BUCKLE 

Hand-stitched brown or black alligator strap with white or yellow gold folding buckle matching the case.

DISPLAY

Hours and minutes displayed on vertical sapphire crystal dial with anti-reflective treatment and Super-LumiNova on the numbers and indexes.
