Description

The U1-AEG is the lighter side of the Impronte collection: an aluminium-colour dial and a sandblasted aluminium bezel insert, so the whole face reads in shades of metal rather than black.

The seconds rail and trims are debossed into the dial instead of printed, so texture does the work colour usually does. On the back, the caseback has a creased, foil-like surface.

The brushed 316 steel case is 40 mm, 41.5 mm across the 120-click unidirectional bezel. The Seiko NH35A automatic winds in both directions and by hand and runs for more than 41 hours. Water resistant to 300 m, tested piece by piece. Limited to 250 pieces, each individually numbered.

It comes on an olive drab seatbelt NATO strap, with a black one as a spare.
