UR-230 “Black Star”
Description
The UR-230 “Black Star” is URWERK at its most cinematic — a closing chapter to the 230 trilogy that doesn’t fade to black, but weaponises it. Following the raw Carbon CTP of the “Eagle” and the icy ceramic of the “Polaris,” the Black Star enters on a cosmic note: dense, breathing black, alive with texture and motion.
The display is pure URWERK DNA. Three cubic satellites rotate across a 120° arc, each carrying an hour as it travels the minute rail. A 3D openworked retrograde hand escorts the active hour from zero to sixty, then snaps back instantly to begin the next orbital cycle. No traditional dial. No conventional logic. Just time in motion — wandering, flying, resetting.
Power comes from URWERK’s self-winding system regulated by a dual turbine mechanism. One turbine absorbs shocks. The second governs airflow to control winding speed like an aerodynamic brake. On the back, a selector allows you to fine-tune the rotor’s resistance — or disengage it entirely for manual winding. Two symmetrical indicators on the dial track these settings in real time.
