Tonda PF Automatic 36mm Alta Rosa

Alta Rosa is a pink you have to tilt to see properly. On the hand-guilloché Grain d’Orge dial it changes with the light, pale one moment and deeper the next.

Everything else is kept spare: hours and minutes only, rhodium-plated gold indexes and delta-shaped hands. The 36.1 mm steel case wears a knurled 950 platinum bezel and runs straight into an integrated steel bracelet, 8.6 mm thin in all.

Behind the sapphire back is the PF770-HM, Parmigiani Fleurier’s own automatic calibre, with 60 hours of reserve, Côtes de Genève, hand-bevelled bridges and a skeletonised 22-carat rose gold rotor. Water resistant to 100 m.

Pink, steel and platinum sounds loud. It wears quietly.
