Description

Variant B was the first Projekt 02 anyone could buy. Each of its nine dial layers is painted a shade darker than the one above, from light grey at the peaks, where the hour markers are, to deep black at the bottom.

kollokium likens it to a hypsometric map. The dial is built from 67 plates, each hand-painted with lacquer mixed with blue-emission Super-LumiNova, then stacked and pegged by hand. One dial takes around 6 hours, and a plate that bends means starting again.

The case is a die-cast 316L steel monobloc, 39.5 mm across, with no detachable lugs and K,P–n°02 in relief on its side. Black hour and minute hands with Lichtblock™, a fluorescent yellow seconds hand.

La Joux-Perret G101 automatic, about 68 hours of reserve, water resistant to 50 m. Limited to 299 pieces, on an anthracite elastic strap.
