Description

The Antarctique Rattrapante R.U.R. is Czapek & Cie’s boldest take yet on its signature split-seconds chronograph. Beneath a grey-metallised sapphire dial, a titanium robot head — hand-polished, laser-engraved, and micro-painted — animates with every press of the chronograph pushers. Start, its eyes flash yellow. Stop, they burn red. Reset, they glow blue. A playful animation, hardwired into haute horlogerie.

The dial is layered with futuristic details: a white chronograph hand, a blue aluminium rattrapante hand tipped in white, and robot-language “XX” markers inspired by Predator’s Yautja alphabet — a subtle nod to science fiction and Czapek’s own Xavier de Roquemaurel.
