The plainest Vetehinen, and the easiest to read: a frosted silver dial with black print, steel hands and Super-LumiNova indexes.

Vetehinen is the water spirit of Finnish myth, and the name of a Finnish submarine in the Second World War. This is the MKII: slimmer than the first at 11.45 mm, with a solid steel caseback, the gear-edged one-way bezel and the screw-down Sarpaneva crown.

Inside, a modified Swiss Soprod A10, reworked in Helsinki: automatic, 4 Hz, 42 hours of power reserve. The 42 mm Outokumpu steel case sits under a 2.05 mm sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 300 m. Limited to 26 pieces, on handmade black Nordic elk, with a blue Grassbay strap too.
