Description

Jarno Saarinen, the Finnish motorcycle racer they called Paroni, was a childhood hero of Stepan Sarpaneva. This watch wears his helmet.

The red and white dial follows Saarinen’s helmet art, with large racing numerals in silver and black print, painted Super-LumiNova indexes, polished steel hands and a blued seconds hand. The 42 mm case is Finnish Outokumpu SUPRA steel, 10.4 mm thick, with sapphire front and back.

Through the back you can see the Swiss Soprod A10, reworked in Helsinki and finished with perlage and Côtes de Genève: automatic, 4 Hz, 42 hours, with a date. Water resistant to 50 m. Each piece is numbered on the caseback and comes on a black Finnish racing strap with red markings.
