Description

Check the date on the seventh of any month. The skeletonised steel date wheel skips the usual numeral and shows a hand-lumed 77, the number Valtteri Bottas races under.

Bottas drew the dial with Sarpaneva Watches: a multilayer skeleton in red, black, blue and white, with large racing numerals and blue two-tone Sarpaneva hands. Through it you can watch the Swiss Soprod A10 at work, rhodium-plated and finished with perlage and Côtes de Genève.

The 44 mm case is DLC-coated Finnish Outokumpu steel, just 9.2 mm thick, with a screw-down crown and 100 m water resistance. Automatic, 42 hours of power reserve. Limited to 77 pieces, on a blue calf racing strap, and delivered with a print signed by Bottas.
