QW38 Fine Steel

In plain steel, the QLOCKTWO W could pass for a thin square dress watch with nothing on the dial. Then you raise your wrist and the time is written out in words of light.

The 38 mm case is stainless steel, 8.6 mm thin, on a Milanese bracelet that sits flat and moves like fabric. Its letters are made photochemically and stand out in three dimensions once lit, and dots in the corners take care of the minutes between words. The display wakes with a turn of the wrist and adjusts to the light; one button shows the moon phase.

QLOCKTWO builds the rechargeable quartz movement itself, in Germany. It charges in its case and lasts up to 10 days. Water resistant to 50 m, and a Red Dot Award winner.
