Louis Erard says its Silberstein tourbillon had only ever come as part of a triptych, and never on black, until this one. Here it stands alone.
The hour sits in a silvered counter at 12 o’clock under a red lacquered hand, and a blue hand sweeps the minutes from the centre. At 6 o’clock a cut-out shows the tourbillon, its cage turning once every 60 seconds with Silberstein’s yellow seconds hand riding on it.
The hand-wound BCP T02 beats at 3 Hz and holds about 100 hours of power reserve. The 40 mm case mixes microblasted Grade 2 and polished Grade 5 titanium and is water resistant to 100 m. On black nylon with a hook-and-loop fastener. Limited to 78 pieces.
